The Chaliyar River

The Chaliyar is Kerala's 4th longest river at 169 km, originating in the Ilambalari Hills and flowing to the Arabian Sea at Beypore. It never dries up and supports rich biodiversity including kingfishers, eagles, waterfowl, and traditional fishermen.
